First Northeast Area Qualifier This Weekend in Elizabeth City, N.C.
Remember, the first Area Qualifier will be held this weekend, February 20-21 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Gates open on Thursday, February 19, at 3 p.m. and will be open 24 hours throughout the weekend. Not only will this be will the first Loretta Lynn qualifier of 2010, it will also be Round 1 of The United States Eastern MX Spring Series. The weather forecast is calling for great weather all weekend with 50 degree days and upper 30s degree nights.
Last year the event had a tremendous event with over 1,200 riders competing on the 1.5 mile sandy, loamy Elizabeth City National Track. Again, gates open on Thursday with an open organized practice on Friday. Stock classes race on Saturday and modified on Sunday. There is level parking throughout the complex with showers, nice bathrooms and great concessions for everyone to enjoy.
