Dear RCSX competitor,

We wanted to send a follow up email and thank you for your participation in the inaugural Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross Championship.

First things first - if you waited in the Saturday registration line, please accept our most sincere apologies for any stress and discomfort that you or your family members may have experienced during the registration process. This was an unacceptable waiting time and we have already implemented steps to assure that it will not ever happen again.

Anyone that has attended an MX Sports event knows that we have some of the hardest and most dedicated workers in the industry and pride ourselves on organization and timely, effective results. There were a number of factors that caused this to happen, but the bottom line was, we got it wrong. As with any first time event, we learn and make corrections.

It won't happen again.

Our team and the Daytona International Speedway have already begun the planning for next year to insure a smooth and fun event for Bike Week 2011. We know that time is valuable and thus would like to offer some consolation for your inconvenience.

  • MX Sports would like to offer you two free pit passes (not gate admission) to any of the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Nationals. To redeem your pit passes email Lesa@mxsports.com.
  • The official Oil of the Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross is AMSOIL. Each rider is now eligible to become a part of their preferred rider program that entitles you to 20% off of all purchases from AMSOIL. To sign up for this discount just follow the directions at the bottom of this email.
  • MX Sports will provide all of the 2010 riders and families with a two week advance registration period to sign up for the 2011 event, in order to get the holeshot on the various classes and registrations.

Once again, we thank you for your participation and for making this event a huge success, and look forward to seeing you back in Daytona in 2011. We promise that the event will be bigger and better next year.
