RE: Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Rider Packet
Thank you for entering the 2011 Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross. We are looking forward to seeing you at the event.
You should have received your rider packet in the mail by now. The packet will include your parking pass and pro supercross tickets. Please have your parking pass in your window when you arrive at the Speedway gate. In the event that you did not receive your rider packet, please have this E-mail and your online entry receipt with you. (MX Sports did not send to addresses on the west coast and out of the country. Those families can pick up their packets at Rider's Registration.
Daytona International Speedway will open for Amateur Supercross riders and families on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. Please enter through Gate 40 off of North Williamson Blvd near turn one.
Once into the infield please proceed to the appropriate camp ground. All hook-ups are located near Lake Lloyd and non-hookups in the Yellow Garage area. There will be parking staff to assist you. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT HOOK-UP SITES ARE 20' X 55' - thus you may be required to un-hook your trailer and park it next to your RV. In the event you are unable to fit in the hookup area, you will have to move to the non-hookup area or purchase an additional space.
After you have parked, proceed to Amateur Rider's Registration at the Boardwalk Club where you will receive the race schedule, practice sticker and amateur event tickets. All riders and guardians must check-in at Rider's Registration. You must have your valid AMA card with you at that time. Rider's Registration will be open Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Please keep in mind there will be thousands of people at the speedway this weekend and your camping area is NOT a secure area. Be sure to keep your belongings locked up when you are not at your pit area.
There are still openings available for Monday's Ricky Carmichael University. Do not miss this opportunity to learn from the best. Families and crewmembers will be treated to breakout sessions with Pro Circuit's Bones Bacon, Dunlop Tire engineers and endurance and fitness expert Robb Beams and the RacerX Virtual Trainer team.
