Here's a tentative rundown of what a day of Ricky Carmichael University looks like at the Lake Elsinore Campus. If you've been to RCU before, you'll probably recognize the format, but with each class comes a slight variation in the lesson plan in order to tailor the needs of each student.

Right away, students will be broken up into 5 different groups according to age and skill level. From there, each group will settle in with an instructor and spend one-hour time periods learning a specific "lesson" before moving on to the next instructor. This year's all-star lineup includes RC, Jeff Emig, Jeff Stanton, Mrs. Carmichael and the newest faculty member Johnny O'Mara. By the end of the day, each group will have spent a substantial amount of time with every instructor and hopefully earning a passing grade in each of the 5 classes!

Not only do RCU students get to spend all day trackside with some of the biggest legends in our sport, but they also get some solid classroom time to ask questions and just do some general bench racing with the instructors. With a grand total of 27 championships standing in the front of the classroom, students are bound to walk away with some priceless information and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Parents/family/mechanics, don't worry we didn't leave you folks out. There will be opportunities to watch your student in action, but we do ask that you refrain from interfering with the instruction and stay off the race track. We encourage you all to take advantage of the off-track information seminars, included in the price of tuition, all throughout the day. Covering topics like fitness and nutrition, suspension and engine building, safety equipment and proper tire installation and maintenance, some of RCU's most prestigious sponsors will provide you with all the information to help keep your rider prepared for anything. Check back for the announcement of this year's keynote speakers.

And don't forget to bring your camera to Graduation. A picture is worth a million words, especially when you're shaking hands with The G.O.A.T!
