THE NATIONAL:
All riders must have a Mylaps MX Transponder for the National. Mylaps Transponders can be purchased online at www.mxtransponder.com or rented at the track. The purchase price online is $90 plus shipping; the rental fee is $40 with a $100 refundable deposit. Riders that currently own a transponder must register their transponder at the Transponder Station at the event. You do not have to have your transponder in order to register, but you must obtain one prior to racing.
There are two types of Mylaps Transponders – Classic and Flex. If you purchase a FLEX transponder online, be sure to download the Flex Manager software and activate your transponder when it arrives in the mail. This is required before you can use your transponder at a race. Instructions to do this will come with the transponder. It is quick and easy to do, but you must have internet access to do it.
