2010 Class Structure

Riders advancing to the National Championship may only enter a total of two classes with the exceptions listed below. The classes for the 2010 AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship program are as follows:

* Riders in the Senior (45+) and Masters (50+) class may attempt to qualify at the Area Qualifier and Regional Championship in both classes. However, at the National Championship only one class may be chosen, as these two classes will be run together in a staggered start format and scored separately.

** Riders in any of the 51cc classes may attempt to qualify at the Area Qualifier and Regional Championship in multiple 51cc classes, but may only enter one 51cc class at the National Championship. The 51cc (4-6) Multi Speed and 51cc Shaft classes will be run together in a staggered start format and scored separately. This is to clarify that class 18.1 (51cc 4-6 stock multi-speed) is a four stroke only class. The class is NOT an AMA class rather an MX Sports class. *** Riders in the Girls (12-15) and Womens (14+) classes may attempt to qualify at the Area Qualifer and Regional Championship in both classes, but may only enter one at the National Championship.
